"The five varieties of thought patterns to witness are:
1) knowing correctly (pramana), 2) incorrect knowing (viparyaya), 3) fantasy or imagination (vikalpa), 4) the object of void-ness that is deep sleep (nidra), and 5) recollection or memory (smriti)."

In the Sanskrit language, the word chakra literally means "wheel" and the chakras represent the energy we have in and around us.
There are seven main chakra energy centers in the body. They control the temperature and atmosphere which allow us to feel when we are too hot or cold and too wet or dry. They represent the elements of earth, wind, air, and fire that make up the physical body.
The chakras connect you to your physical body, instincts, intuition and inner wisdom, spirituality, intellect and ego.
Taking the time to balance these energy centers can help you learn to listen and connect to your body, instincts, wisdom, and inner truth.
The chakras can be balanced using sound, yoga, meditation, essential oils, crystal energy, and by eating rainbow colored fruits and vegetables.

Doga: Yoga with Your Dog
Animals respond to our vibrations, that is how they communicate with us. If humans struggle with stress and anxiety in their daily life, our closes animal companions feed off those vibrations and might take on some stress induced habits of their own. Have you ever noticed your dog taking on weird habits like whining for no reason, chewing up household items, licking their paws and ankles raw or even shaking and showing aggression towards people and other dogs? Well this can all be caused from anxiety.
Our pets are always listening to us so taking a moment to listen to them will truly make a difference in their behavior. I've discovered that there is no better bonding or training experience. By massaging the pet, integrating simple yoga pose variations, breathing deeply with them, and ultimately practicing meditation with them, you and your pet will most definitely benefit, bringing the body and mind's vibrations back to a state of ease and relieving that anxiety weighing you both down.
